13 CANCER SUPPORT: PROGRAMS, GROUPS & THERAPIES LOOK GOOD FEEL BETTER® A program of the American Cancer Society A non-medical, free service which teaches cancer patients hands-on cosmetic techniques to help them cope with appearance related side- effects from chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Cosmetic kits are provided to patients, one time only, and are available in four skin tones: Light, Medium, Dark and Extra Dark. Women learn makeup techniques, skincare, nail care, and options related to hair loss (wigs, turbans, scarves).This service is open to the community and offered at hospitals and cancer centers throughout the Bowling Green, KY, Chattanooga and Nashville areas.
