All programs including support groups, healthy lifestyle workshops, social activities, educational lectures and mind-body classes are evidenced based and/or evidence-informed- and are always provided FREE of charge. Offering approximately 60 professionally-led support and networking groups and over 50 educational workshops and lectures every month, Gilda's Club Nashville is able to make a tangible difference in the lives of those impacted by cancer. The core program is Meals 2 Heal, which consists of four basic parts: Food is donated from local farms, farmers markets, grocery stores and producers. Under the guidance of adult mentor chefs, teens volunteer in the Kitchen and prepare beautiful, delicious, and nourishing meals for people dealing with cancer/serious illness.
