ABOUT OUR NURSE NAVIGATION PROGRAM At Sarah Cannon our nurse navigators play a vital role in cancer care. We offer a comprehensive patient navigation program to help patients, families and caregivers understand and cope with the disease, available treatment options, and the cancer care experience. Sarah Cannon's integrated cancer services help ensure seamless care through the cancer journey. Program Highlights: More than 200 Nurse Navigators guiding patients through every aspect of care Consistent patient guidance throughout the cancer journey to maintain quality of care and improve the overall cancer care experience Direct communication with patient, caregivers, physicians and administrators for care recommendations Real-time solution for quality patient information and care oversight As part of the navigation offering, Sarah Cannon has designed a unique technology platform to support patient navigators in all phases of the treatment spectrum. This platform addresses prevention, screening and early detection, diagnosis, treatment, palliative care and support programs. Sarah Cannon has invested in nurse navigators across all of our centers specifically to work with our patients, empowering educated decisions and providing support as they go through the many stages of living with cancer.
