GRIEF SUPPORT SERVICES Alive Grief Support Services provides bereavement care for patients' family members and the community at large. Services are designed to meet the bereavement needs of children and adults who have experienced the death of a loved one in the past two years. Group sessions are offered several times a year and individual counseling is always available. Fees may apply, however no one is denied counseling because of an inability to pay. Please call or visit the website for a current list of groups, locations and for information about camps and retreats for grieving children and teens. MIND-BODY CLASSES & WORKSHOPS AFTER BREAST CANCER PROGRAM (ABC) A program of the YMCA of Middle Tennessee, ABC provides comprehensive exercise, nutrition and wellness services free of charge to breast cancer patients and survivors. During the 16-week program, participants receive lymphedema education and screening, work individually or in small groups with a Pink Ribbon (TM) certified personal trainer, meet four times with a Registered Dietician, attend monthly educational meetings and participate in small process groups, have free use of YMCA facilities and group fitness classes, and meet other survivors and receive encouragement and support from them, as well as from a caring and knowledgeable staff.
